A movement led by refugee youth, for refugee youth.

SEHER — Strength, Empowerment & Hope for Emerging Refugees — was founded by Areej Khan out of lived experience. Many refugee youth in Malaysia face limited access to education, restrictions on work, and few spaces to find mentorship or belonging.

We exist to fill those gaps: a safe space where youth connect, learn, and grow together — and step into roles as leaders, advocates, and changemakers. Because we are more than our struggles. We are the dawn of a brighter tomorrow.
